Are you looking for a summer day camp that welcomes neurodivergent families? Do you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation in a beautiful and safe environment? If so, you might be interested in Naramata Camp by Watermelon Sessions!

 

Naramata Camp is a camp designed for families with neurodivergent children and teens. It is located in the heart of Okanagan, on the shores of the stunning Okanagan lake. Naramata is a quiet, friendly and peaceful village, where you can escape from the stress and judgment of the outside world. There are no big roads or traffic in the village, so you don't have to worry about your kids running away or getting lost.

 

At Naramata Camp, you and your kids will have a blast! You will meet other like-minded families, share your experiences and support each other. Your kids will make new friends, learn new skills and have fun. We have a variety of programs and activities for everyone, such as:

 

• Alpaca farm trip: Meet and pet these adorable animals, learn about their care and wool production, and take home some alpaca souvenirs.

• Peach/cherry picking field trips: Enjoy the fresh and juicy fruits of Okanagan, pick your own baskets and make some delicious jams or pies.

• Beach party: Splash in the water, build sandcastles, play games and have a picnic on the beach.

• Art classes: Express your creativity and imagination through painting, drawing, sculpting and more.

• Garden farm: Explore the wonders of nature, plant seeds, harvest vegetables and herbs, and taste some organic produce.

 

We have visual support for everyone and knowledgeable staff to ensure a smooth transition and a fun experience.
