Art Creation Time
🖌️ Each child creates an art piece inspired by the emotion of the week.
🧩 We use mixed media (paint, collage, clay, etc.) to encourage sensory exploration and creativity.
Sharing & Reflection
🗣️ Kids are invited (but never required) to share their artwork and talk about their process.
🌈 We use visual prompts and emotion cards to support expressive language.
Clean-Up & Transition
🧼 Kids help tidy their space using visual clean-up cues.
🧠 Why Parents Love It:
-
Emotionally enriching: Kids learn to name, understand, and express their feelings. Inclusive: Designed for speaking and non-speaking children, with supports for all communication styles.
-
Creative & calming: Art becomes a tool for regulation, expression, and connection. Practical: Builds emotional intelligence and self-awareness in a playful, accessible way.
✨ At the end of the course, every child will take home a personalized art folder filled with the pieces they created throughout the program. Inside, you’ll also find simple reflection cues to help them remember the emotions they explored, the strategies they practiced, and to spark meaningful conversations with you at home.
