Inspiration Thrives in Diverse Directions

Ausome Art Project is a vibrant six-month initiative that celebrates neurodivergent creativity across the Lower Mainland and Okanagan.

💡 Overview

The AUSOME ART Project is a joyful, inclusive art program designed especially for neurodivergent individuals who love to express themselves through creativity. Whether your child is a budding painter, a sensory explorer, or someone who simply finds joy in color and texture, this space is for them.

We believe art is a language of its own—and everyone deserves a place to speak it.

🖌️ What to Expect

  • Session Length: 1.5 hours of guided, expressive art-making

  • Who It's For: Open to all ages and all abilities—because friendship and creativity have no age barriers

  • Supportive Environment:

    • Visual supports and alternative communication options for non-speaking participants

    • Gentle facilitation that honors each individual’s pace, preferences, and sensory needs

    • No pressure to perform—just space to explore, connect, and create.

🌈 Why AUSOME ART?

  • We celebrate neurodivergent ways of seeing and making

  • We foster authentic friendships through shared creative experiences

  • We meet each participant exactly where they are—emotionally, developmentally, and artistically.

🏙️ Participating Cities

We’re thrilled to bring AUSOME ART to six vibrant communities across British Columbia:

  • Vancouver

  • Coquitlam

  • Kelowna

  • Penticton

  • Naramata

  • Vernon

Each location will host its own series of sessions, culminating in a shared celebration of creativity and care.

🗓️ Session Scheduling Notice

Sessions will be held in various cities one to two times per month, depending on participant interest and registration numbers. The exact location for each session will be announced approximately one month in advance to allow families ample time to plan and prepare.

🎉 Community Celebration

At the end of the AUSOME ART journey, participants’ collective large-scale masterpieces will be proudly exhibited at the Watermelon Sessions studio.
