About This Camp

This camp is built for kids who thrive with structure, clarity, and supportive adults who understand neurodiversity. Every outing is planned with sensory needs, pacing, and predictability at the center — not as an afterthought.

We keep groups small, communicate clearly, and offer multiple ways for kids to participate. Your child does not need to mask, perform, or “keep up.” They get to show up exactly as they are.

🌟 Field Trips (with Age Recommendations):

🛡️ Vancouver Police Museum — Ages 10–19 (different days for different age groups)

A calm, structured visit with clear expectations and lots of visual information. Great for kids who enjoy facts, history, and predictable environments.

🐐 Maplewood Farm — Ages 4–19

Lower‑sensory, outdoors, and hands‑on. Ideal for kids who benefit from movement, nature, and slower pacing.

🚀 SpaceShip Museum — Ages 7–12

Playful, imaginative, and visually engaging. We support kids through transitions, excitement, and sensory load with visuals and co‑regulation.

🌉 Capilano Suspension Bridge — Ages 5-19

A nature‑based adventure with clear prep and pacing options. We offer alternatives for kids who prefer solid ground or need time to warm up.

Clear communication before, during, and after outings
Sensory‑aware planning (quiet spaces, noise‑reducing options, movement breaks)
Staff who understand stimming, scripts, AAC, and diverse communication

Space for kids to regulate without judgment
