Service Description

Our group is open to students who have difficulties with communication, emotions, or impulse control, but who also want to connect with others and learn new skills. We will be doing some easy cooking projects that will help them express their creativity, practice teamwork, and enjoy delicious food. Our group is led by experienced facilitators who know how to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Whether your child is shy, angry, or just different, they will find a place where they belong in our group. Please bring your own Support Worker to insure the safety of everyone!

Cancellation Policy

Watermelon Sessions main goal is to create positive experience for our students. Whether it’s a class, playdate or outing – we want to see the best outcome and happiness. We understand the unpredictable nature of our students and we are here to accommodate all the needs. However, since our groups are “hand picked” and we do our best to invite students with the same interests and needs, we have to put a lot of care and effort into our scheduling. If you need to cancel, please give us a 48h notice. Between 24 and 48 hours notice you will be charged at a 50% rate. Less than 24 hours notice or no attendance at all, you will be charged the full amount. Verbal or written notice that your child will be attending the class is considered to be an official reservation. Last minute “drop in” is available if we are notified 2 h prior. We appreciate your understanding and compliance.
